John F. Kennedy John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born on May 29, 1917 in Brooklyn, New York. He was the eldest son of prominent businessman and politician Joseph Kennedy and his wife, Rosa. John was educated at the Private School of Chowth-Rose before attending Princeton University, where he studied civil service and diplomacy. He later transferred to Harvard University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1940.

After graduation, he served in the United States Navy during World War II, where he was awarded medals for his exploits. After the war, he began his political career serving as a congressman from Massachusetts before being elected senator from the same state.

In 1960, John F. Kennedy was elected the 35th President of the United States of America, becoming the youngest of all the presidents of the country and the first Catholic elected to this post. His presidential term was marked by a number of key events, including the Cuban missile crisis and the start of the US space program.

JFK's tragic fate came on November 22, 1963, when he was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, by shooter Lee Harvey Oswald. His death left a deep mark on the hearts of Americans and people around the world.
