Martin Short - Biography

After university, Martin Short went to Toronto, where he joined the Second City theater group, which specialized in improvised comedy. The experience was a boost to his career, and he soon moved to the United States to try out for American television and film.
Some of Martin Short's more famous works include:
1. "Three Aminks" (1986) - In this comedy, he played the role of the immediate and slightly stupid guy Natie, for which he was nominated for a BAFTA award.
2. "Scary Movie" (2000) - in this popular parody, he played the role of a doctor, demonstrating his comic talent and sense of humor.
3. "Dad, Daughter and the Eternal Call" (1991) - in this film, he played the role of a father who tries to settle relations with his daughter, creating a lot of funny situations.
