Akiko Higashimiyama - Biography
Higashimiyama was born on February 28, 1965 in Japan. Her childhood and early years are little known, but her passion for art manifested itself from an early age. She began to draw comics and characters in her school years, which was the starting point of her future career.After graduating from high school, Higashimiyama's true studies began at a local university, where she studied art and design. Her education became the basis for the development of her artistic skills and formed her unique style.
Akiko Higashimiyama's career began in the manga world in 1987, when she released her first work, the short manga "Bright Tales" (Akai Hana). This was the first step towards her future fame as an artist.
Her first long-term series, Kimi no Kyouiku wo Ubau, was published in Ribbon magazine and became successful. She also worked on other series such as Everyday Magic and Monument of Love.
Akiko Higashimiyama influenced manga and art with her unique style and ability to create tender, romantic stories with colorful characters. Her manga was popular with female audiences and often focused on themes of love, friendship and magic.
