Anna Sewell - Biography
Sewell (Anna Sewell) is a name that has become synonymous with caring for animals and nature. "Black Handsome" was published in 1877 and became an instant bestseller. This book became not only a literary work, but also a powerful tool for educating society about the problems of animals, the abuse of their exhaustion and abuse.
Anna not only wrote about animals, but also actively advocated for their rights. She became a member of the Humane Society and continued to fight for better conditions for horses and other animals. Her voice was an important factor in the movement to protect animal rights and reform animal use practices in agriculture and transportation.
