Her family immigrated from Russia in the early 20th century, and they founded a new life in America. Anne attended Columbia University in New York City, where she studied chemistry and biology. Her education subsequently became an important factor in creating a scientific atmosphere in her works. Ann's first publication under the pseudonym Isaac Asimov took place in 1938, when she was only 18 years old. Anne Leclair became widely known after the release of her "Foundation" series of novels, which began with the publication of "Foundation" in 1951. This series tells about the future of the galaxy and an attempt to preserve knowledge and civilization for millennia. The world created by Asimov was complex and skillfully worked out, and the books received great recognition.
