Bret was born on May 31, 1930 in San Francisco, California. His childhood was somewhat difficult - the Eastwood family moved from city to city in search of work. The young Bret showed an interest in acting from an early age and dreamed of a film career.

After serving in the U.S. Army and small film and television roles, Bret began his acting career. His first steps in film were modest, but his charismatic appearance and natural talent were noticed by directors.

Bret gained fame in the early 1960s for his role in the television series Rawhide. However, real fame came to him along with the role of a ruthless single shooter in the film A Fistful of Dollars, which became one of the first spaghetti westerns. He played in two more films directed by Heartthrob Leone, creating the image of "Man Without a Name," which became one of his most famous.

The following decades brought Eastwood even greater popularity thanks to his roles in classic films such as "Brutal Harry," "No Forgiveness" (Unforgiven), and "Bridge to Terabithia" (Million Dollar Baby), for which he received Academy Awards as an actor and director.
