Carlos Fuentes - Biography

However, the novel "The Old Man and the Sea" (1967) became a real pearl. This work, which played an important role in his literary career, addresses the theme of art and loneliness. It won him the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1982 and approved him as one of the greatest writers in Latin America.
