Clare is a name many fans of fantasy and youth literature know and respect. Her books about magic, adventure and love won millions of readers around the world and made her one of the most famous and influential writers in the genre.

Cassandra's early years were spent in the city of Tehran, Iran, where she was born and spent the early years of her life. She was the child of a diplomat, and her family often moved from country to country.
