Claude Monet - Biography

In 1859, under the influence of his aunt, Monet entered an art school in Leverno, where he began studying painting. He met the artist Eugène Beaudin, who became his mentor and inspiration. In 1860, Monet moved to Paris, where he began to study art and met future impressionists.

Claude became one of the leading artists of the Impressionism movement. This artistic movement offered a new perspective on painting focused on capturing moment, light and color in nature. They created their works outdoors to accurately convey the effects of light and atmosphere.

One of the most famous series was the Jug with Lilies series. In these paintings, he investigated the effects of light and color on the surface of water with lilies. These paintings were distinguished by stunning beauty and became a symbol of his skill.

Another significant episode was the Hay Stacks series. In this series, he depicted hay stacks at different times of the day and weather conditions, exploring changes in light and color. These works demonstrated his unique ability to capture the beauty of the moment.

Monet was a close friend of other Impressionist painters such as Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Alfred Sisley. He also had a family, and his wife, Camille Donsier, and children often served him as models. They lived in various places in France, including Giverny and Vety-sur-Mer, where Monet created his famous garden with water lilies.

Claude passed away on December 5, 1926, leaving the world with a rich heritage in art. His works had a huge influence on the development of art and inspired many artists. His works are considered great masterpieces and continue to delight and inspire art connoisseurs around the world.
