Don DeLillo - Biography

DeLillo is a name that undoubtedly commands respect and interest in the world of literature. The American writer, born November 20, 1936 in the Bronx, New York, has a unique literary gift and a deep understanding of modern culture and society. Born to Italian immigrants, Don was the second of three children. His parents, Rosa and Salvatore DeLillo, worked in the textile industry. This novel, as well as subsequent works, are marked by an in-depth analysis of modern American culture, technology, and society. DeLillo became known for his unique style and ability to explore complex themes in his works.

However, the present moment of fame for Don came with the publication of the novel "White Noise" (1985), which received many awards and recognition, including the National Book Award. This work deals with the themes of death, the media and consumer culture, which made it relevant today.
