Born on January 11, 1887, in Bour Oke, Iowa, he became one of the most important figures in the history of the environment and conservation of nature.

Aldo grew up in a family where the values of nature and respect for the environment were priorities. His parents instilled in him a love for and care for nature. He spent a lot of time surrounded by nature, studying forests and rivers and watching wildlife.

An important stage in his career was the appointment of the head of the forest service in the Gila National Forest, which is located in the state of New Mexico.
