George Denis Patrick was born on May 12, 1937 in New York, USA. His childhood was not easy, and he grew up in the Harlem area in a middle-class family. From an early age, George developed an interest in comedy and stand-up, inspired by the work of comedians such as Lenny Bruce and Mort Saul.

His comedy career began in the late 1950s, and he performed in nightclubs and television shows. He quickly gained attention for his bold humor and off-the-shelf themes for short stories.
