Henrik Sienkiewicz - Biography
Senkiewicz (Henryk Sienkiewicz), born 5 May 1846, is one of the greatest Polish writers and a Nobel Prize winner in literature. Sienkiewicz began his literary career as a journalist and wrote articles and short stories for various newspapers and magazines. However, his real breakthrough was the novel "The Flood" ("Potop"), which was published in 1886.
