Hideki Anno - Biography
Anno was born on May 22, 1960 in Ube, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. His interest in animation and art emerged from an early age. At a young age, he began creating his own animated shorts and drawing manga. As he grew older, his passion for animation only intensified.After graduating from high school, he entered the Tokyo University of the Arts, where he studied animation and film.
