Jack Kirby, real name Jacob Kurtzberg, was born on August 28, 1917 in New York City, United States. His childhood was spent in Brooklyn, and he showed his talent for drawing from an early age. His passion for comics and illustrations led him to work as an assistant artist in the comic book world in the early 1930s.

Jack began his career in the comic book industry, working on various genres including westerns, science fiction, and superheroes. He gained popularity for his work on characters such as "Santa Claus" and "Captain America," which became one of the most famous superheroes of Timely Comics, which then became known as Marvel Comics.
