Jeff was born on 30 June 1947 in Birkenhead, England. His family moved to Birmingham, where he spent most of his childhood. From an early age he showed interest in music and began to study guitar.
In the 1960s, under the influence of the Beatles Revolution, Jeff decided to devote himself to music. He joined the band Idle Race and began writing his own songs. His musical talent was evident and his songs began to attract attention.
In the early 1970s, Jeff Lindell became the founder and leader of the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) group. ELO mixed rock and symphonic music, creating a unique and recognizable sound. Under Lindell's direction, the band released a number of successful albums, including "A New World Record" and "Out of the Blue."
