John Lewis Kreiss was born on 26 October 1964 in London, UK. He grew up in a creative family - his mother was an actress and his father a talented painter and sculptor. From childhood, John showed an interest in music and art, and his parents supported his passion.

After leaving school, John entered the Metropolitan University in London, where he studied design. However, his real passion was music, and he began performing extensively in local clubs and bars, developing his musical style.

John Kravitz's musical career began in the late 1980s when he released his debut album, "Let Love Rule" (1989).
