Johnny Morris - Biography

Morris (Johnny Morris) is a name associated with a vivid passion for nature, animals and the art of communication with wildlife. He was born on 20 June 1916 in Newport, Wales, and his life and career became the epitome of a love of nature and natural science talent.

Since childhood, Johnny has been passionate about nature and animals. His family supported his interests, and he spent a lot of time in nature observing the animals and studying their behavior. This passion for nature became the basis for his future career.

Early in his career, Johnny worked at the British Library and as a reporter, but he soon found his vocation in television. In 1953 he joined the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and began his work on nature television programmes.

However, he achieved real fame and recognition thanks to his work on the program "Animal Magic," which was launched in 1962. In this program, Johnny not only talked about animals, but also recreated their voices and characters, which made him a legend of television.
