Adamson (Joy Adamson), the full name of Friederun Victoria Gossler, was born on January 20, 1910 in Trostberg, Austria, and became one of the most famous figures in the field of nature and wildlife protection. Her life and career have left an indelible mark on exploring nature and protecting wildlife.

Joy was born into a noble Austrian family and received a good education. Her interest in nature has been evident since childhood, when she began to learn to explore the local fauna and flora. Her parents encouraged her interest in nature and adventure, which became the basis for her future career.

In 1935, Joy married Peter Adamson, a British officer, and their marriage led them to Kenya, which became her second home. Here she began her research in wildlife and wildlife.

Together with her husband, Joy began working on the research and protection of big cats, including lions, leopards and cheetahs. Their research was conducted in Meru Reserve, which became known for their work.
