Jürgen Habermas - Biography

However, the true breakthrough was the publication of "Theory of Communicative Action" (1981). In this large-scale work, he developed the concept of communicative action and argued that communication and dialogue are the basis of rationality and social structure. He also explored issues of public justice, democracy and morality in the context of communicative action.
