Habermas is a figure who has left an incredible influence on philosophy, sociology and communication theory. Jürgen was born on 18 June 1929 in Düsseldorf, Germany. His parents were educated and supported his interest in learning and knowledge. In his youth, he showed an interest in philosophy and social sciences, which determined his future direction.

After graduation, he entered the University of Göttingen, where he studied philosophy and history. He then moved on to university in Bonn, where he continued his education, delving into research in sociology and philosophy.

Literary career and "Theory of communicative action"

Jürgen Habermas's literary career began with the publication of his doctoral dissertation on philosophy and sociology. In 1962, he published his first book, "The Structure of Mind," in which he presented his basic philosophical ideas.

However, the true breakthrough was the publication of "Theory of Communicative Action" (1981). In this large-scale work, he developed the concept of communicative action and argued that communication and dialogue are the basis of rationality and social structure. He also explored issues of public justice, democracy and morality in the context of communicative action.
