Karl Marx - Biography

Marx is a name that has become synonymous with socialism, Marxism and philosophy, which had a huge impact on world history and society. This German philosopher, political thinker and revolutionary is one of the most significant figures of the 19th century. In this text, we will tell you about the life, ideas and legacy of a Marx.

Karl Heinrich was born on 5 May 1818 in Trier, a small town in the western part of Germany. His family was Jewish, and was raised in the spirit of Judaism. His father was a lawyer, and was educated at the gymnasium, where he showed his talent in the field of literature and philosophy.

In 1835 he entered the university in Bonn, and then continued his studies in Berlin. At university, he studied law, philosophy and history. There he also came into contact with young intellectuals who shared his interest in Hegel's philosophy and revolutionary ideas of the time.

Early in his career, he worked as a journalist and editor. His publications and articles addressed issues of social justice, politics and public reform. He was also involved in editing and producing a number of revolutionary newspapers and magazines.

However, the real turning point in Karl Marx's life was his acquaintance with Friedrich Engels in Paris in 1844. This meeting was the beginning of a long and fruitful friendship and cooperation. Together they developed Marxist theory, which became the basis for the analysis of social and economic processes and criticism of capitalism.

Together with Engels, he wrote the "Communist Manifesto," which was published in 1848. This document became a programmatic statement of the Marxist movement and a call to the working class for liberation from exploitation and the establishment of communism. In the manifesto, Engels and expressed their ideas about class struggle, historical materialism, and revolutionary variables.
