Margaret Mead - Biography
Mead (Margaret Mid) was born on August 15, 1941 in a small town in North Yorkshire, England. Her childhood passed in a poor but loving family. She was a passionate reader from childhood and showed an interest in writing in her early years. This interest in words and stories became her inspiration for a future literary career.After graduating from high school, Margaret attended the University of Oxford, where she studied English literature and creative writing.
