Martin Luther King Jr., was born in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of priest Martin Luther King Sr. and Alberta Williams King. Martin was a talented student and successfully completed high school at the age of 15. He later attended Morehouse University in Atlanta and then Boston University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. After receiving the priesthood and serving in his father's church, Martin Luther King Jr. decided to devote his life to the struggle for social justice and equality. His spiritual vocation and conviction of nonviolence became the basis of his struggle for civil rights.
He led the African American civil rights movement and became a leader of the Union of All-American Communities (SCLC), an organization dedicated to fighting to end racial discrimination. His approach to wrestling was based on non-violence and passive resistance inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy.
