Matsumoto Takashi - Biography
Takashi was born on September 10, 1938 in Tokyo, Japan. From childhood he developed an interest in art and drawing, and his parents supported his fascination. After graduating from high school, he attended Nihon University, where he studied art and design.His education at the university became the basis for the development of his artistic skills, and he began to dream of a mangaki career. In those years, he was already actively drawing and sending his work to competitions and publishing houses.
However, Matsumoto came to real success after the creation of the Black Jack manga, which was first published in 1973. This work has become one of the most famous and respected manga in the world. The manga tells the story of a brilliant self-taught surgeon known as Black Jack, who performs miraculous operations and solves medical riddles.
"Black Jack" became incredibly popular and was adapted into anime series, as well as films and theatrical productions. Matsumoto was widely recognized for his talent and contributions to the manga world.
In addition to Black Jack, Matsumoto Takashi created a number of other successful manga, including Captain Tsubasa, Astro Boy and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. His work is diverse and covers various genres, but always remains in the major league of quality and art.
