Philip Larkin - Biography

Larkin attended Oxford University, where he studied English literature. At university, he met other talented writers and poets, which inspired his active work. His first poems were published in student publications, and they already demonstrated his literary talent.

After graduation, he began working in a library in Birmingham and continued to write poetry. His first book of poetry, "Collectors," was published in 1955 to the admiration of critics and readers.
