Raymond Carver - Biography
Carver is one of the most influential American writers of the 20th century, known for his short stories and piercing works. At the beginning of his literary career, Raymond Carver published his stories in little-known literary magazines and anthologies. He began to gain fame through his observations of everyday life and the characters of ordinary people.
In 1967, he published his first book of short stories, entitled "Birds," which received critical and reader acclaim. This was the beginning of his literary success.
