Robin Hobb - Biography

Hobb Biography: The Life and Creativity of the Famous Fantasy Author

Robin is a name associated with magic, adventure, and richly drawn fantasy worlds. A celebrated American writer, she has won millions of readers around the world with her amazing works such as Queen's Assassin and Livetown Traders. In this biography, we will talk about Robin's life, career and influence on the fantasy genre.

Robin is the pseudonym of American author Margaret Ogden, born March 5, 1952, in Berkeley, California. Her childhood and youth were spent in different places in the United States, as the family moved frequently. This instability and constant change of residence became an important part of Robin Hobb's biography, and they influenced her writing career.

Robin received a bachelor's degree from the University of Denver, where she studied communications and theater. She also earned a master's degree from Space Western University, specializing in arts and education. Her education in communications and theater, as well as her interest in history and fantasy, shaped her creative perspective on the world and inspired writing.

Robin Hobb began her literary career under different pseudonyms and genres, but real success came to her with the appearance of the character Fitzchivaldon in the novel Assassin's Apprentice, published in 1995 under the pseudonym Robin Hobb. This novel was the beginning of the epic saga The Farseer Trilogy, which tells about the adventures of a young assassin.

Robin Hobb's following books, including "The Royal Assassin" and "Assassin's Quest," continued Fitzchaldon's story and his difficult relationship with the royal family. This trilogy was met with a warm reception from critics and readers and became a bestseller.
