Stanley Kubrick - Biography
Kubrick was born July 26, 1928 in New York City to Jewish immigrants from Poland. His early years were marked by a passion for photography, and this fascination was the first step towards his future cinematic career.At 17, he bought his first camera and began making short films that featured an unusual visual style and exploration of human psychology. His early experiments already implied talent and passion for cinema.
At the beginning of his career, he shot documentaries and advertisements. His work caught the attention of critics, and he became famous for the documentary short film "A Day in the Night Shift" (1953), which told about the life of workers in the printing workshop.
However, Kubrick's real breakthrough came with the release of the drama "Fear and Hate in Las Vegas" (1956). Based on a novel by Lyon Fellig, the film showed the dark and hard side of human nature and was the first step in his career in Hollywood.

The film "The Shining" (1980), based on a novel by Stephen King, explores the theme of isolation and madness in the gloomy setting of the Overlook Hotel.
