The Hunger Games

The main character, 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen, becomes a participant in the games when her younger sister Prime was chosen as a participant. To save her, Katniss voluntarily takes her place. In the arena, she has to not only fight for her life, but also manipulate others, overcome psychological and physical trials, and cope with internal conflicts and dangers.
