Immersing itself in a variety of cultural contexts, this project explores the variety of genre features that characterize title novels. From classical stories to contemporary works, authors from around the world use the novella as a means to uncover unique aspects of their culture, society and human experience. We will conduct a comparative analysis of short stories from different countries, identifying common features and unique features of each culture. From Japanese Kuklachev novellas to Latin American magical realism to North American realism, we explore how different cultural and literary traditions shape the structure, theme and style of title novellas.
This project is intended not only to shed light on the diversity of world literature, but also to enrich our understanding of how literary forms reflect and interact with culture and society. It will provide readers with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of various literary traditions and discover unique perspectives on the human experience, presented through the prism of the novella genre.
