Doom (2005)

On the distant planet Arrakis, also known as Dune, is the most valuable resource in the universe - melange, or just spice. Control of Dune gives enormous power, so the Melange Mining Corporation transfers the rights to the planet to the Atreides family, which leads the house in the galaxy. The head of the family, Duke Leto Atreides (Eaton Hawke), goes with his people to Arrakis, where they intend to conduct melange mining.

However, the arrival of the Atreides on Arrakis puts them on the path to mortal danger. The hostile environment of the planet, full of dangers and intrigue, forces them to fight not only natural forces, but also political opponents. While Leto tries to retain power and control of Dune, his son Paul (Alexander Skarsgård) discovers his hidden abilities and embarks on a path of fate that will lead him to great trials and decisive events for the future of the planet.

At the heart of the intrigue is Dom Harkonnen, old enemies of the Atreides seeking revenge for their past defeats. In their attempt to destroy the Atreides, they interact with the mysterious Freeman people, the inhabitants of Dune, who live in the deserts and guard its secrets. Paul and his family are forced to team up with the Fremens to confront the common enemy and protect Dune from total annihilation.

In an epic battle for control of the planet Arrakis, Paul Atreides faces a dark secret of his origin and a fate that could change the course of history.
