Henry's Book (2017)
The main character of the film is 11-year-old Henry, an intelligent and charming boy living with his mother Susie and brother Peter. The family's life seems ordinary until it is revealed that their neighbor, a criminal named Glenn, is abusing his own daughter Christina. The whole family becomes embroiled in a dangerous situation when Henry and Susie decide they need to act to protect Christina from their father.The major twist comes as Henry devises a complex plan to save Christina from her father's abuse. With the help of his own savvy mind and the help of his brother Peter, he builds an incredible plan that he thinks should take Christina out of the hell she's in.
But as the plan evolves, events take an unexpected turn, forcing the main characters to face serious consequences for their actions. Mother and son will have to reconsider their ideas about justice, virtue and sacrifice in light of the hard decisions they will have to make.
