The film tells the story of Jim and Laura, two people from different cultural backgrounds who fall in love and decide to start a family. After meeting in one of the stores, where Jim accidentally becomes Laura's client, their lives change forever.

However, their family plans are complicated by the resistance and bias of those around them, including the parents of both parties. Jim and Laura face a variety of obstacles, including cultural stereotypes, expectations, and prejudices that put their relationship to serious test.

In addition to external problems, Jim and Laura also face internal challenges in finding their own identity and accepting the cultural heritage of a partner.
