Navigator: Climbing to the Sun (1988)

The film takes place in a small Australian town, at the end of the XII century. Residents of this town are suffering from a devastating epidemic, and it seems that all hopes are lost. However, in a moment of despair, a young boy named Grimbald (played by Thomas McCarty) suddenly begins to see the future. He sees his small town becoming a metropolis in the future.

Under the guidance of his father, who is a priest, and with the help of a strange instrument resembling a navigation compass, Grimbald and his friends decide to travel through time to prevent the onset of disaster. They believe that if they can reach the place where the future city is located, they can save their fellow citizens from inevitable death.

The journey turns out to be full of dangers and trials, but at the same time it is filled with miracles and amazing discoveries. The film immerses the viewer in a unique world of mixing times and cultures, where the past and future are intertwined in an exciting journey to the treasures of meaning and understanding.
