Shake Hello (1969)

The film tells the story of two completely different worlds that collided as a result of a funny set of circumstances. The main character, Lena Golubkov, a young and energetic student-activist, accidentally finds himself in the house of senior engineer Semyon Borisovich Gorbunkov, who is a typical representative of the Soviet intelligentsia, cynical and skeptical of young people.

Lena, trying to prove that he is no worse than older generations, invents a legend about his "shake-hello" and penetrates into Gorbunkov's house under the guise of his son. Semyon Borisovich, in turn, starts the game and pretends to be his uncle, suggesting that Lena is his nephew. This is how the funny and intricate pretense begins, leading to numerous comic situations and unexpected turns of events.

As both worlds intertwine and intersect, they both realize that youth and experience can mutually enrich each other, and that friendship and understanding can arise even where nothing seems to be in common.
