Shine (1980)

The plot of the film takes place in the remote hotel complex "Overlook," located in the mountains of Colorado. However, immediately after the family arrives at the scene, strange and frightening events begin to occur.

Under the influence of the hotel, he becomes more and more aggressive and dangerous for his family.

Wendy tries to protect himself and his son from Jack, who is plunged into an increasingly deep psychosis, becoming a toy in the hands of dark forces awakened by the hotel. Their struggle for survival turns into a nightmare, which forces Wendy and Danny to use all their strength and intuition to escape the horror that took over the hotel.
