Shot into the Void (2015)

The film is set in Oakland, California, where young African American Oscar Grant spends time with friends on the last day of 2008. After an altercation at Bart Station between his friends and the police, Oscar and his friends decide to return to the train and leave the scene. However, on the platform, police officers begin to detain them, claiming that Oscar and his friends are suspected of being involved in the incident.

The situation quickly spirals out of control, and Oscar finds himself face to face with a police officer who improperly uses force, stabbing him in the back. An injured Oscar dies at the scene, leaving his family and friends in deep shock and grief.
