Speed (1994)

The film begins with police officer Jack Travens and his partner Harry Temple trying to deal with a terrorist who planted a bomb in the building. However, they find that this is only the beginning of a nightmare, when a terrorist announces that another bomb will be activated if the bus, moving slower than 50 miles per hour, stops.

Travens is forced to board the bus, which becomes a hostage of the terrorist, and, along with the crew, tries to find a way to save the lives of all passengers and prevent an explosion. They enter a deadly race through the streets of Los Angeles, facing various obstacles and dangers in their path.

While Travens fights the terrorist and tries to find a way to defuse the bomb, he also faces a dilemma of trust and betrayal when it is revealed that the terrorist is much closer to him than he thought.
