The Green Mile (1999)

The action takes place in 1935 at the Cold Mountain Prison Barracks, where the main character Paul Edgecombe, a warden with a big heart and a deep sense of justice, works. His routine life is disrupted by the arrival of a new inmate, John Coffey, a huge African-American man accused of raping and killing two young girls.
