The Shape of Water (2017)
The action takes place in 1962 in the United States, during the Cold War. The main character, Eliza Ashton, works as a cleaner at a secret government facility where she stumbles upon a strange creature brought out of the water. This creature is an amphibian that was brought from the Amazon for research.Eliza begins to build a special relationship with this creature. She discovers that it has intelligence and feelings, and a tender and incomprehensible bond is formed between the two, despite their differences.
