Three Christ (2017)

"Three Christ" tells the story of Donald D. Lindsley, a patient with schizophrenia who was subjected to an unusual experiment in one of the psychiatric clinics in 1959. Three doctors - Dr Alan Chuckley, Josef Volper and Milton Ratfer - made the decision to try to treat Donald by inserting three different notions of Christ into his mind. Each of the doctors believed that their approach to therapy would help the patient overcome his disease.

The film follows this experiment and its aftermath, showing how each of the doctors seeks to find a path to a patient's recovery while facing moral and ethical dilemmas. The experiment reveals deep themes of religious faith, identity and personal growth.

However, in addition to trying to treat the patient, the film also explores the personal lives of doctors and their own struggles and difficulties. They each face their own spiritual crises and internal conflicts, making their characters deeper and more multifaceted.

"Three Christ" is not only a story about attempts to treat schizophrenia, but also a deep study of the human psyche, religious beliefs and the strength of the human spirit. The film makes the viewer think about the nature of faith, identity and compassion, as well as the complexity of human relationships and the desire for personal growth and self-discovery.

Topics:

- Schizophrenia and mental health: The film explores the topic of mental disorders and attempts to treat them through the prism of the history of a patient with schizophrenia.

- Religious faith: It raises questions of religious faith and spiritual growth through experimental treatment of the patient, using different ideas about Christ.
