Where Dreams Lead (1998)
The main plot develops around two young people who accidentally meet on the banks of the river in a provincial town. Jesse and Celine - American and French - fall in love at first sight. However, their acquaintance is no coincidence: they deliberately spend the whole night together, despite Jesse having to leave the next morning.As they walk the streets of the city discussing life, love, art and philosophy, they face questions of their own self-determination and values in life. Their conversations become the central point of the film, opening up a world of inner experiences and thoughts of the main characters.
