White Bim Black Ear (1977)

The film is about a young engineer Vladimir who accidentally finds a stray puppy of a white hunting dog of the West Siberian Like breed. Having endured difficulties and hardships together, Vladimir and the dog, whom he called White Beam, develop a deep friendship and bond that goes through the trials of time.

However, their happiness is overshadowed when Vladimir is forced to go to the city to work, and White Beam is sent to a state animal shelter. From there, White Beam is sent for experimental treatment, where he is deprived of the opportunity to participate in the hunt and returned to the city shelter. Despite the fear and difficulties, Bely Bim tries to find his friend Vladimir.

While Vladimir arranges himself in a new place and meets new friends, he cannot forget his faithful companion. Vladimir's strong feelings for his dog friend push him on a desperate attempt to get White Beam back to him.
